In my opinion, it depends on the person, since there may be different ideas about the ideal teacher, whether the teacher model exists or not, per example: there may be a person or student who believes that Juan Ramos was the perfect teacher, and he does exist, but there may be another who thinks that the ideal teacher must have certain characteristics. However, that person has not yet seen him or her, so this question can not be answered with certainty.

From my point of view, firstly, a good teacher has to be able to explain and teach his students in a fun and educational way without boring them. Secondly,he must be passionate about his job, hard-working and he has to understand his students and help them in everything he can. And finally, a good teacher must not be impatient because if he gets angry constantly and easily, he will not be able to teach his students correctly.

During my childhood in the Diocesano school there was no teacher who caught my attention educationally speaking, but if I had to choose one, it would be José Antonio, the first teacher who taught me of all the years I've been there. He had nothing special, he was a normal man who did not excel at teaching or being more affectionate than the rest but he is important to me since in the pre-school education he taught me different things that, however basic, I still use them. Another good teacher that comes to mind is one called José Luis, a teacher whose kindness and way of being won't ever be forgotten by me.

In my opinion, I don't believe that there is exactly one ideal teacher, since each student will like a way to have a class.

For me, an ideal teacher would be one who is passionate about his work and would like to really teach, and not like many teachers there are now who only come to class because they pay them and don't care about the future of children.
He or she also work hard and try to make the classes catch our attention. For example: putting films related to the theme, making games with the mobile phone where there are questions about the theme and many more things.

And finally, that he or she makes us realize that the notes aren't the most important thing, and that when sending us homework or putting exams, keep in mind that we have more subjects.

  4. I think a good teacher has to be passionate about his job and know how to deal with teenagers (in our case).
Another thing is that a teacher mustn't be shy and he/she should let their students talk about the lesson being discussed.
It also depends on the class the teacher has to work with, it could be difficult for a teacher to explain anything if the class is always talking about silly things not related to the lesson.

In conclussion, I think it's not easy to be a teacher but it can also be pleasant.

In my opinion a good teacher has to be passionated with his or her work, because if he or she doesn't like what he sor she does, we, the students, are going to be bored and we are not going to find the classes interesting.

Another important quality is to be a bit strict, because if he or she doesn't put order, the students are going to do all they want.
Also he or she has to be patient because sometimes we don't understand things and they have to explain it a lot of times.

Finally, i think when they send homework they have to keep in mind that we have more asignatures and we have other things to do like sport activities or go to classes...

I know that teach many students is difficult but they have to remember that they had been teenagers too.

  6. In Spain we often tend to undervalue the profession of teacher. Since we are kids, we spend a lot of time in school (with the years, the time increases) and teachers are a fundamental pillar not only for education, but also for life. Also being a teacher is not having enough knowledge, it's being able to transfer it.

In my opinion, the perfect teacher doesn't exist because like people we are, we make mistakes.

In spite of all the teachers that will teach us in life, there are a few that we will never forget (in a good or a bad way), and I think a teacher has to try to be remembered by students.

In addition to the typical things, like being patient with students, or being passionate about your subject, I think a teacher must understand that pupils are not equal, each of them is different, their learning pace, their skill and their way of learning is quite different and you can't treat them all the same, because the difficulties are not the same for all of them.

Also I think it is important to be helpful and students have to understand that your goal is support them, and they can ask you for help or any kind of questions.
A good teacher must also boost the research spirit of students, keep them motivated and try to explore the students' limits.

They have to keep in mind that children are not as familiar as you with certain concepts, and your explanation has to be understood by all students.

Not only knowledge is important, but also the values that you are teaching values (they should be good) because one day, children will grow up and they have to be prepared to face problems.

The perfect student for me is not that one who has perfect marks, is that one whose ability is as good as the knowledge they have, and also as good as their values (to be an integral person), so they can solve their real-life problems.

My point of view is that an ideal teacher doesn't exist, but there are good teachers, who have some features that stand out from others.

I think a good teacher, must explain well, Then therefore all the students can understand what is the teacher speaking about. For instance, a good teacher encourages the students, and even more with the ones who have difficulties with his/her subject

Another feature, I considered, the teacher has to be passionate about his job. Also he/she should be aware about sending homework because of the exams, projects, their students will have from another subjects.

Finally, I think the teacher has to be friendly, because the lesson will be more interesting.

  8. Be a teacher is a difficult job especially if you work with teenagers. Teenagers are complicated and do not always follow the rules.

A perfect teacher has to create a daily objetive for their students, he/ she has listen to their students and keeps students on task. Also, a good teacher needs to stay calm and give quiet students options to participate in class.

Finally, he/ she has to be strict and professional, but he/ she has to laugh and make his/her classes humorous.

In my opinion, the perfect teacher doesn’t exist. I think that everyone has different tastes and a teacher couldn’t like all their students. However I am sure that a teacher with these four characteristics would like many of us.
-A patient teacher: a person who doesn’t mind explaining the lessons a thousand times until we understand them.
-An entertaining teacher: a funny and interesting person that doesn’t make us sleep in class.
-A teacher who thinks that exams are not everything and that the most important thing is that we learn.
Everything I just said is very important, but the main thing in my opinion is that a teacher has to be passionate about his job. Id a teacher doesn’t like what he does, nothing i said previously would be possible.

In my opinion, the ideal teacher doesn't exist because each student would like that the teacher gives classes in one way or another. But there are some teachers better than others.

For me, a good teacher has to be strict so that students work without talking too much and to put order in class, also to prepare us for the future.

Also, they have to be patient with the students when we don't understand something and they have to explain it to us several times.
Finally teachers have to work hard too, to get all the attention of the students and make the classes more interesting so that they don't get bored.

I think to be a teacher is a complicated job, but they should try to do it as well as possible.

  11. I guess that the perfect teacher doesn't exist because nobody is perfect, but I have had a lot of good teachers. I think a good teacher has to have social skills to motivate students. He or she has to be passionate about his or her subject and make it entertaining, but at the same time be a bit strict because pupils talk a lot when their teachers are too lenient. He or she must stimulate student's curiosity so they won't be ignorant in the future and show them good values to be respectful.

  13. Being a teacher is not an easy job. It's even more difficult when you're working with teenagers due to the fact that they don't listen to you, they talk to each other during the lessons, etc.

Although most of the people say that the ideal teacher doesn't exist, I think it does. The perfect teacher must have a great sense of humour to make the lessons funnier, so the students pay attention to the lesson. Also, a good teacher shouldn't be lenient, but strict.

He or she must listen to the problems students may have. As a result, student and teacher will be closer.
Other thing the ideal teacher should have is patience. He or she should be passionate about his job.

Finally, the ideal teacher must have the ability to turn a boring subject into an interesting one, but that's my opinion.

In my opinion being a teacher more than people think, the perfect teacher doesn't exist because this is a personal opinion.

For me a good teacher has to be patient, a bit strict, and passionate about his job and his subject because i think if the teacher is passionate about his job the student like more the subject. The teacher has to work hard and be sociable, because he or she works with a lot of people.

In my opinion is very hard to be a perfect teacher.
There'll always be good teachers and not so good, but you must learn the maximum possible things of each one of them.
To be a good teachers you should gather a range of skills and be able to show them well.
A good teacher must be talented and determined with his/her work, be able to express well is an indispensable quality. He or she must listen to the problems students may have.
The teacher must be motivated and his/her classes must be dynamics in order that his/her pupils dont get bored. Make projects and trips to develop the ability to relate to students is always a good idea.
The teacher must work hard, he or she must marks the exams and homeworks daily, therefore also he or she must be strict and he must show to his/her students to be a figure of authority also giving rewards for doing homework can motivate students.
He or she mustn't be shy. He or she must be so sociable and talk happily with everyone, the best thing that he or she might do is make his/her subject funny and enjoyable. Use innovative methods such as educational games on tablets.
A good teacher should be a perfect mix of this personal qualities.

  17. Teachers, we, teenagers spend a lot of time with teachers, but un spite of that, we sometimes do not get along with them.
In my opinion, that happens because students are selfish, so, they only think in themselves but also because teachers forget that a lot of time ago they were students too.
If I had to choose a personal quality to be a teacher, I would choose “ to be motivated" because motivation is very important in a subject, when a student likes a subject, the student motivates himself, without anyone help, but when the subject is boring or the student hates it, the teacher must give him/her motivation, if the teacher is also bored or he/she is a boring person, it does not matter if the subject is interesting or not, nobody is going to like it.
Also a teacher must be hard-working, a teacher can not expect students to be hard-working if he/she is the laziest person in the world.
I remember I had a very good teacher in sixth of primary, he was a very pacient person although he was also very strict, I remember he always explained everything a lot of times and he did not stop until everyone had understood what he wanted to say. His exams were difficoult but if you played attention during the class you could easily get a good mark.
On the other hand, some years ago I had a very bad math teacher, he was the laziest teacher I have never seen, he never explained anything and the exams were really difficoult.
In conclusion, the perfect teacher does not exist but that is normal, even they are humans.

  18. From my point of view, the most important carateristics of a prefect teacher depend on the age of the pupils that he is teaching. If the techer's pupils are childs, the teacher must be passionate about the subject that he is teaching and a little bit strict, he must transmit happiness and funny on learning. If the pupils are teenagers, the teacher must be funny and must adapt to each class. I think the education system based on classes is great , but it must have some changes, classes must be smaller, and the pupils must choose the subjects that they like, learning basic things about everything obviusly. Classes could be a really pleasant space of learning, having a good realtionship between pupils and the professor. The teacher also must learn "learning", I mean, he should analyze the speed of learnnig of the class and try to improve every pupil in what he like, this could help every pupil in his most importan choose, the degree.

In my opinion, I think that some characteristics of a perfect teacher are:
Good teachers are always thinking about ways to improve what and how students learn. The make their students be involved in what they are saying (100% involvement of students is totally needed).
They make them understand by giving examples from various sources (from movies, public figures, politics...).

Also a balanced teacher is my ideal teacher: a teacher who is strict, but also permissive; a teacher who challenges his or her students, but is their friend; a teacher who is serious but friendly; and a teacher who is concerned for their students, to the point they can be considered a parent outside of the classroom.

But the most important is that he or she has to be empathetic with his students and to be fair so if they don't allow children to do something, like using the mobile or eating, the should not to do it neither.

In my opinion teaching is a difficult work because you need to face with a lot of students and not all of them behave well so it can be a little bit stressful, for me a perfect teacher must be patient with the students that learn slower than the rest of the class,he needs to be a little bit strict and look if the students do the homework because if the teacher don't look the homework they aren't going to do it never,he must be be passionate about his subject but also think that we have more subjects than his own subject, he must be a little bit funny because if he not be funny ,their classes are boring and many students stop to follow the class and start to do other things.
A perfect teacher is difficult to found because it is made from our personal likes and in a class there are more than one student so not all are going to be happy with that teacher.

In my opinion, each person likes a different type of teacher. For me, a good teacher is the one you pay attention to in class without being distracted, because his/her classes like you and you don’t talk to anyone or get distracted. I don’t think that a good teacher has to allow things to the students in their classes and I don’t think that it is necessary to put some complicated tests to verify what the students have studied, because if a teacher makes the students know well about the class they will go home with the lesson learned.

My favorite teacher was Pepa, I had her at school when she was 3 years old, I remember she was a teacher who always explained what you need and helped you with everything, she also gave us crackers at recess, she was a fantastic teacher!

I think that there are a lot of facts that make good a teacher.
-If the students are good , the teacher can explain better and the students will learn a lot.
-If the teacher prepares his/ her classes, that is, he/she looks for interesting information , the students will pay more attention.
-If the teacher prepares games, the students will not get bored.

Do you have good memories of your teachers?

Although everyone can have a different opinion, in my opinion, teachers should have a close relationship with students because they will spend a lot of time together. In addition, teachers must be passionate about their work and motivate students. They must be strict but at the same time know how to transmit love for their work. For me if a teacher does not motivate you or does not help you in the subject at the end you lose the attitude to study it.

Of all the teachers I have had, I think that the one who came closest to my idea of the ideal teacher would be my school tutor. He was my tutor from 3rd to 6th. He tried to help you in everything he could and also the way to do the class more entertaining and easy. Anyway, he rarely got angry with us though he demanded of us.

Anyway, I think everything depends on the person and the subject that he gives.

As teenagers we spend lots of time with out teachers. We start going to school when we are only 3 years old so they became a part of our family. However, as in all families happen, no one is perfect. Kids tend to criticise their teachers when they have an exam but they don't consider there is so much effort from the other side.

The perfect teacher does not exist, as far as I am concerned. We are all different but not perfect. Everyone makes mistakes and it is not a bad thing. It means there is something you can do to be a better person.

I do not have an opinion about teachers from other countries as I have never studied any course out of Spain but I can teel about education in Spain. Here, teaching is a very underrated proffession. Many people say it is an easy job as you only have to speak to children and you are well.paid and have lots of vacation. This is not true, nevertheless.

I come from a family in wich 5 members of it are teachers, so I can tell by my experience. Also, it is different being a Secondary teacher than it is beign a pre-school one.

If you want to be a teacher -specially a secondary one- you have to keep in mind that not everyone is going to like you. Every student preferes a kind of teacher or a way of teaching that is unique from others. However, there are things that everybody agrees about.

    1. A teacher has to be polite. Sometimes it is good to not be pollytically correct all the time, as it can make you closer to teenagers, but you should never be disrespectful. Maybe saying a bad word once can make you cooler but if you are swearing all the time it would be very unpleasant.

    2. You should treat different your students. This does not mean you must have preferences but keeping in mind that every student if unique and special. For some students maths can be a hard subject so you must explain slower or give them some extra exercises for practising.

    3. You must be patient and helpful. You have a lot of knownledge because you have studied an Univesity degree but a teenager has no idea about it. Explain twice, three times or even more if necessary.

    4. You shouldn't be a very strict person. If you complain every time someone is speaking you will have to shout during all the class. Sometimes being a lenient teacher is good but never going to the opposite side. Being a very indulgent person will make students not to respect what you say.

    5. You must be passionate about your subjet, of course. You have influence in very young people that do not know what to do with their lives. Often having a good teacher can make students choose the proffesion they want to study in the future.

In spite of that, what really matters is the way you pass your knownledge. This is something you cannot change because you are born with it. That is why we remember some of our teachers with special affection.

I can tell about my old primary teacher. She was an old lady but she was amazing at explaining. Thans to her I knew how to read correctly and even multiply when I was only 7 years old. I also remember my last English teacher, who had a very unique way of teaching -he udes to keep everyone in silence by offering us sweets. He wrote down all the candies we had won during the lesson and he gave them to us the last day of the years.

Nevertheless, it really depends on the teacher and the school you are in but no one is perfect and there is nothing bad with it.

Teachers that make classes very boring are the worst teachers because any pupil can learn in this way because they get bored.

Since we start school when we are little children, until the career, we spend our days in class, surrounded by our teachers. It is difficult to know what type of teacher is better, just because an easy point, each student acts different and each one has a different type of intelligent. Many people find more helpful a creative teacher, the one that explains the lesson with images or drawing, whereas other students may prefer adapting the unit to the book´s content. Generally speaking, a good teacher for everyone may have patience and should be gifted to know how to express himself/herself. While it is true that a teacher should addapt to the book and the course, sometimes it is interesting to know more about daily examples or something out of the class and the exams. From my point of view, if a teacher doesn´t motivate students, he/she isn´t a good teacher at all. It isn´t the same a student with a powerful actitude, that a student that go to class each morning because he/she has to. All in all, it is nearly impossible to know what teacher is the best one, but the most important thing is that if the teacher loves his/her work, it will be reflected in the students´s motivation and behaviour.
